Jeremy's parents got married in their early twenties. Jeremy's mom was a newborn christian and Jeremy's dad had been raised in the church. Kate, Jeremy's mom, had not been raised in the church, and had to learn for herself what God was all about. Awhile after Kate and Dennis, Jeremy's dad,were married Kate began to see a lot of hypocritical behavior. She also realized that Dennis wanted her to be perfect little house wifey and that wasn't her. She tried to be someone she wasn't but in the end she was tired of acting like someone else. She wanted to be herself. Dennis repeatedly tried to get her be this perfect person she couldn't be and it got to be too much for kate. They ended up getting a divorce and because of him constantly pushing religion on her she turned away from God. Not too long thereafter Kate met and married a guy named Mike. Mike is Jewish. Dennis married theperfect christian wifey he wanted. It wasn't too many years later that Jeremy's stepdad mike developed a coke and oxycotten habit. So jeremy had to see mike doing drugs on a daily basis,then on the weekends he would go to his dad's and be preached to about God and being obedient. His mom, in an effort to get her husband off hard drugs, got him to start smoking pot as an alternative. So Jeremy saw this and started to smoke pot. Mom didn't want him to do this behind her back so just let him smoke with them. So now jeremy was smoking weed then going back to dad's and doing the whole church thing.
THis has been going on his whole life. His mom always encouraged him to believe what he thought was right, but because of the two very different lifestyles hewas always riding a fence. This ultimately effected his relationships with women. Like me for instance. Dated mefor a year and a half and in that time broke up with me three times because we were having sex and he could't deal with it and he thought he was going to hell. Then he'd quit smoking pot for a few weeks because it was bad. Then something would happen and he would start smoking again.....This isstill the case today. HE still goes back in forth with drugs and sex. He's had to take anti-depressants because sometimes he gets so down about religion and his life in general and not making a difference and how he's going no where in life. He lives each day like it is a constant pity party. So now he is taking medicine for panic attacks because he thinks that now his chance togo to heaven has passed because he smoked weed and God told him never again. It'sall a very crazy situation.
